Overview
Following the successful inaugural workshop, the 2nd SCI-SCI Korea Workshop invites researchers who explore the production and consumption of science under the broad framework of the “Science of Science.” Scholars from diverse fields—ranging from statistical physics, big data and machine learning, bibliometrics, economics, management, public policy, sociology, and political science—are welcome to join us in sharing research questions, empirical findings, and methodological innovations.
Through presentations and open discussions, we aim to advance our understanding of science as a system—its structure, evolution, and institutional dynamics—particularly within the Korean and broader East Asian context. The workshop also aims to provide a platform for early-stage collaboration and an intellectual community in Korean-based and East Asian regions.
