About Regal Road Junior Public School
We are located in Toronto's west end by Dufferin Street and Davenport Road. Regal Road Junior Public School was built in 1914 and is part of the Toronto District School Board. Our students attend classes from Junior Kindergarten up to Grade 6. We have both English stream students as well as French Immersion. Our school has just under 600 students. An Open Letter to Our TeachersJanuary 20, 2020
The Regal Road School Council stands in solidarity with our teachers and supports the labour action taken by the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario (ETFO) in response to the Ontario government’s existing and proposed cuts to public education.
Every day, our school’s educators strive to equip our kids with the knowledge and skills they’ll need to make our society stronger, better, happier, and healthier. And their jobs don’t end there. Teachers protect kids who are being harmed, offer love and guidance, wipe noses and tears, and help our kids feel valued and realize their full potential. Set one foot inside an Ontario public school, and anyone can see that this provincial government is creating chaos for our kids.
We urge Minister Lecce to reconsider the austerity that his government is bringing to our public education system. He must support our teachers, reverse the cuts, and move forward with respect for our future generations.
It’s time for the Ontario Government to take the concerns of teachers and parents more seriously.
With gratitude to our educators,
The Regal Road School Council

The new pizza lunch form has gone home for the second half of the school year! We're changing things up a bit and pizza lunch is now for anyone who would like to participate. Just remember to send back the pizza lunch form! Please sign up for School Cash Online at https://www.schoolcashonline.com/ so that we can keep money from going into the school during Work to Rule. We're requesting the donation of $25 per student for four pizza lunches. There is now the option to pay-it-forward so that you can help families who can't contribute as much. The theme for this pizza lunch is World Map!

5 Day Calendar
Regal Road's classes run on a 5 Day schedule. This schedule determines when students have classes such as gym, music and library. The schedule can be tricky to keep track of because the days are tied to the days of the school year, not the days of the week.
