- Deep breathing exercises and fun 'brain breaks' are great ways for children to de-stress
- Have an overall stress reducing plan to keep future stress under control
A complete stress reducing plan includes:
- Positive mental times
- Physical activity
- Sleep
- A regular routine
- Deep breathing= relax the body and mind; choose a quiet spot to sit; breathe while counting to three
- Fun 'brain breaks'= lower stress during study sessions; listen to three favorite songs; complete jumping jacks or dance to get you or your child's blood pumping
