Hello!
I am currently a PhD student in Linguistics and Research Assistant at University of Ottawa under supervision of Dr. Tania Zamuner. I received my M.A. degree in Linguistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. My M.A. thesis, supervised by Dr. Yanhui Zhang, investigated the relation of working memory, declarative memory and procedural memory as individual differences in second language acquisition.
My recent research interests lie in psycholinguistics:
Spoken word recognition
Language processing
Memory and language acquisition
First/second language acquisition
Bilingualism
Chinese Linguistics (Cantonese) - classifiers and sentence final particles
Advertising discourse
Born and raised in Hong Kong, I speak Cantonese as my native language.
