ScanPro Hindi OCR Scanner ("ScanPro", "we", "our", or "the App") is published by A team of RvCreation. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, including data handled by Google AdMob (advertising), Google Play Billing (subscriptions), Google Cloud Vision API (online OCR), and Google Cloud Translation API (translation).
By using ScanPro, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Important: On the free plan, ScanPro shows banner ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect the Android Advertising ID (AAID) and similar device identifiers to deliver, measure, and personalise ads (where permitted). This is declared in Google Play Data safety as data shared with third parties for advertising.

Camera: Used only when you scan. Not uploaded to our servers (we have no backend).
Photo picker: Only images you select — not your full gallery.
Saved files: PDFs, images, audio — stored locally on your device.

We do not operate a cloud database, do not sell personal information, and do not collect name, phone, or email unless you contact us.
Supported OCR languages (v15.0.5): English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi. Choose Auto Detect or a language on the home or scan screen.
On-device (offline): English, Hindi, Marathi — Google ML Kit; data stays on device.
Online (internet required): Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi — images sent to Google Cloud Vision API; Auto Detect may also use Cloud Vision. We do not retain images on our servers.
Translation: Text sent to Google Cloud Translation API (default) or MyMemory (optional fallback) for 40+ languages.
Scanned content is never used for advertising.

Payments are processed by Google Play Billing only. We never receive card or UPI details. Subscription prices come from Google Play. Restore Purchase checks your Google Play account — no payment data is sent to us. The Premium screen links to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled in Google Play → Subscriptions 24 hours before renewal.

Reset Advertising ID: Settings → Google → Ads.
Opt out of personalised ads: Settings → Google → Ads.
GDPR consent via Google UMP on first launch (where applicable).
Cloud API credentials are embedded securely at build time (not as plain text in app resources). All Google Cloud communication uses HTTPS. Restrict API keys in Google Cloud Console to package com.scanpro.ocr.
Files stay on your device until you delete them or uninstall. Local preferences clear on app data clear/uninstall. Email rvcreation257@gmail.com for deletion requests (Settings → Data Deletion Request).
Rated Everyone but not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Industry-standard Android practices. On-device OCR where possible. HTTPS for cloud APIs. No scanned content on our servers.
