Scanora ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Data We Collect
Account information: When you sign in with email or Sign in with Apple, we store your email, display name, and country in Firebase. This is used to manage your account and subscription.
Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status (e.g., Pro, Free) is stored in Firebase and used to unlock features.
Documents: All scanned and imported documents are stored locally on your device. We do not upload your documents to our servers.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your account and subscription data to:
Provide and maintain the app
Process subscriptions and purchases
Send password reset emails when requested
We use analytics (Firebase Analytics) to understand app usage and improve the product. This may include screen views, feature usage, and anonymized events. No document content is sent to analytics.
3. Data Storage
On device: Your documents, scans, and exports remain on your iPhone or iPad. We do not access or transmit this data.
In the cloud: Account and subscription data are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud). Firebase is used in accordance with its privacy and security practices.
4. Your Rights
You can:
Delete your account and all associated data from within the app (Settings → Delete Account)
Request a copy of your data by contacting us
5. Children
Scanora is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
