These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Scanner application (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
The App allows you to:
Capture document scans with your device camera
Import images from your library for scanning
Create, preview, export, and share PDFs and related outputs
Core scanning and PDF generation are performed locally on your device. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to capture, scan, process, or share any document or image you use with the App.
2.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of the images and documents you provide and the PDFs or exports you create using the App. The App does not claim ownership of your content.
2.2 Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any content you scan, export, share, or distribute using the App. You agree not to use the App to create or share content that:
Violates applicable laws or regulations
Infringes intellectual property or privacy rights of others
Is harmful, abusive, or unlawful
The App may offer both free and premium features.
3.1 Free Version:
* Includes 3 lifetime scans
* Basic scanning and PDF export
3.2 Free Trial:
* New users can start a 3-day free trial of Premium
* All Premium features are fully unlocked during the trial
3.3 Premium Subscription:
* Unlimited scans
* OCR (Text Recognition)
* Export scanned text
* Ad-free experience
Premium terms, pricing, and availability may vary and are subject to change.
If the App offers in-app purchases:
Payments are processed by Apple
We do not have access to your full payment card details
Purchases are subject to Apple’s terms and policies
All purchases are final, except as required by law or Apple’s refund policies
The App may integrate services such as subscription management, authentication helpers, and advertising (for example, when you are not a premium subscriber). Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of those features is also subject to those third-party terms where they apply.
All intellectual property related to the App itself, including:
App design
Code
Branding
UI elements
is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App except as permitted by law.
We reserve the right to:
Modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time
Update these Terms as necessary
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available or error-free.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
The App will meet your expectations
Scans or PDF outputs will be error-free or suitable for any particular purpose
The App will operate uninterrupted
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We are not responsible for data loss, misuse of content, or device issues
Your use of the App is at your own risk
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of your country of residence, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
