Unable to scan a document into Libre but my other word processor (Asphampoo Office) will accept the scan ok. Must be a software problem so from now on until I see a solution I will use the other program.

ErrFinalToken is a special sentinel error value. It is intended to bereturned by a Split function to indicate that the token being deliveredwith the error is the last token and scanning should stop after this one. After ErrFinalToken is received by Scan, scanning stops with no error. The value is useful to stop processing early or when it is necessary todeliver a final empty token. One could achieve the same behaviorwith a custom error value but providing one here is tidier.See the emptyFinalToken example for a use of this value.

Scanner provides a convenient interface for reading data such asa file of newline-delimited lines of text. Successive calls tothe Scan method will step through the 'tokens' of a file, skippingthe bytes between the tokens. The specification of a token isdefined by a split function of type SplitFunc; the default splitfunction breaks the input into lines with line termination stripped. Splitfunctions are defined in this package for scanning a file intolines, bytes, UTF-8-encoded runes, and space-delimited words. Theclient may instead provide a custom split function.

Scanning stops unrecoverably at EOF, the first I/O error, or a token toolarge to fit in the buffer. When a scan stops, the reader may haveadvanced arbitrarily far past the last token. Programs that need morecontrol over error handling or large tokens, or must run sequential scanson a reader, should use bufio.Reader instead.

Scan advances the Scanner to the next token, which will then beavailable through the Bytes or Text method. It returns false when thescan stops, either by reaching the end of the input or an error. After Scan returns false, the Err method will return any error thatoccurred during scanning, except that if it was io.EOF, Errwill return nil.Scan panics if the split function returns too many emptytokens without advancing the input. This is a common error mode forscanners.

Otherwise, the Scanner advances the input. If the token is not nil,the Scanner returns it to the user. If the token is nil, theScanner reads more data and continues scanning; if there is no moredata--if atEOF was true--the Scanner returns. If the data does notyet hold a complete token, for instance if it has no newline whilescanning lines, a SplitFunc can return (0, nil, nil) to signal theScanner to read more data into the slice and try again with alonger slice starting at the same point in the input.

ReadFrom implements io.ReaderFrom. If the underlying writersupports the ReadFrom method, this calls the underlying ReadFrom. If there is buffered data and an underlying ReadFrom, this fillsthe buffer and writes it before calling ReadFrom.

Today I ran into an issue while trying to scan a document using my Canon MG2922 printer. Using LibreOffice Writer, I attempted to scan a document by clicking on Insert>Media>Scan>Request. This brought up the ScanGear cannon software, as expected. If I try to preview the scan by clicking the "Preview" button, it works just fine. The scanner runs and gets a preview of the document. However, if I click the green "Scan" button to scan the document nothing happens. The scanner does not scan, no progress bar appears and it just stays on the ScanGear screen. Clicking the "Scan" button several times does not help. I also tried different settings but nothing seems to help.

I've always hated writing poetry, but I realize now that it was mostly the teachers that were bad and not the text itself. What are some good tips for reading poetry, to learn how to write it myself? I write fiction and have writer characters that should realistically have a wider range than myself, and am interested in personal songwriting on the side. I enjoy basically all decent prose as long as it isn't some troubled writer venting about their tepid sex life in beige. Violence of any kind does not bother me.

A computer monitor display is non-linear, that is, the values from black to white are displayed as a curve. That slope of that curve is the gamma. The typical scanner will encode the scanned image with the proper gamma correction so the monitor can display it correctly. When you scan a negative using the negative setting on your scanner, the scanner processes the image from negative to positive internally and adjusts the gamma from 1.0 to 2.22. This value is for a PC. Mac monitors use a different gamma curve. I use a PC.

This first screen-shot shows a 16 bit linear scan when opened in PWP. The negative is very dark, too dark to be of much use. Rather than allow my scanner to do the gamma adjustment, I do it with PWP instead. I prefer the control.

Good information. Thanks for the tutorial. I had discovered the trick of scanning the negatives as positives, and sort of just randomly adjusted things after that. This gives me a little more scientific approach.

I have the NExT rfid plus nfc chip. Neither DT app will work. I used nfc tools plus to write onto the chip, and I could scan it and have access to the phone number I put on it. But when I tried to change the information, I got the error

When you connect a bar code scanner to your computer, you can use it to streamline some common tasks. When a bar code is scanned, R.O. Writer converts the bar code to text and inserts that text into the field the cursor is in. After the bar code has been entered into the part or vehicle record, you can use the scanner to enable certain functionality.

If you scan a part with a code that has not been saved to a part record, R.O. Writer reads the code and allows you to search your inventory for a part. The code is added to the part and the part is added to the ticket immediately.

Your shop may want to offer discounts and coupons from time to time. In R.O. Writer, you can do that by creating a part with a negative average cost and associating that part with a bar code. Then, you can add the coupon part to the ticket just by scanning the coupon's bar code while the ticket is open to the Parts/Labor Tab.

Your shop may want to create loyalty cards or IDs for returning customers. These cards usually have bar codes. You can enter the bar code of the account in the Bar Code field of the vehicle record. After you save the bar code in the vehicle record, R.O. Writer creates a ticket for the customer and the vehicle whenever you scan that code in the future.

A deficiency in throughput is one of the main problems for the post-100 nm generation mask writer. Mask-scan writing technology is one of the methods for increasing in the throughput. A large pattern is projected by scanning the electron beam over the mask pattern. We have developed a low aberration optical column to prove the concept of the mask- scan technology. We obtained the EB mask pattern image by scanning the electron beam over the mask. We confirmed the capability of the astigmatism correction by the bias voltage superposed on the main field deflectors.

Wasn't TOAA in that Fantastic Four comic when he told them how their story would end and drew Thing and stuff? I don't have any scans of it though and to my knowledge he's never been explicitly stated as the writer

Except now days? We have users creating threads like "TOAA SUPERIOR TO PRESENCE LOL" or "TOAA REALLY POWERFUL?" i mean geez, talk about missing the point of comics, the point of stories, the point of such characters, all because some people are obsessed about feats and proving "their" guy is more powerful. If only more fans cared about the actual creators, writers and artists who brought us these stories and characters, because they are curious about the artistic and creative processes, challenges and ideas. Now when I see people talking about writer interviews its to confirm or "debunk" a feat. Damn kids **shakes fist in the air**

@dawnone: He hasn't been stated to be anyone else but the one above all in multiple wikis. Sorry, I thought whoever edits the one I mentioned has some level of authority behind it. The person wasn't directly stated to be the one above all, but he was called the god who created everything, just as one above all. From my knowledge the one you posted wasn't directly stated to be the one above all either, rather "above all others". Instances of his appearance in marvel universe has been very brief so it's possible he has been interpreted differently by different writers.

Also, anyone can make any assertion. They can have reasons for those assertions, but in general people shouldn't take for granted that others will agree with those assertions and reasons. Hence the ability to find common ground, and explain, listen and understand becomes really useful in conversations. I don't know exactly what you mean with some of your conclusions and assertions, but I get the sense I would disagree. That and I am not sure if you could convince me that a fictional character with meta elements is "all the Marvel writers" as opposed to a fictional character with metal elements that can be occasionally written as a metaphoric stand in for Marvel creators, but nothing so concrete or literal as the other interpretation, nor that in every appearance as if Marvel creators have a hive mind.

@sc: its even on the marvel wiki, and wiki's are strict. I once redid an entire page but because the guy didn't like one little thing it all got deleted. I think every writer is a different aspect of the TOAA. ff782bc1db
