## Privacy Policy

Cardix ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Cardix collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Cardix mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

- Account Information: email address, username, and Apple Sign-In or other authentication data.

- User Content: card photos you upload or scan, collection items, and related data.

- Purchase Information: subscription status and transaction records managed through Apple's in-app purchase system. We do not collect or store payment card details.

- Device and Technical Information: device identifier, operating system version, app version, and technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

- App Activity Information: scan history, collection data, search queries, and timestamps related to your use of the app.

 2. How We Use Information

- Create and manage your account.

- Authenticate you through Apple Sign-In or other supported methods.

- Analyze scanned cards and generate card identification results.

- Estimate market pricing and show related listing references.

- Enable collection management and portfolio tracking.

- Deliver push notifications (with your consent).

- Process and manage subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system.

- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms.

- Improve and operate the app.

 3. Card Scan Processing

When you scan a card, the image may be processed by third-party AI and related service providers to identify the card and generate pricing-related results. This processing is necessary to provide Cardix's core recognition and pricing features.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party service providers, including:

- Apple Sign-In for authentication

- Firebase / Google Cloud for database, storage, and analytics

- AI services for card image analysis and identification

- eBay API for listing integration and pricing references

- Analytics providers to understand app usage and improve the service

These providers may process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy practices.

5. How We Share Information

- With service providers that help us operate Cardix.

- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or service integrity.

- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.

We do not sell your personal information.

 6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify information where reasonably possible, subject to legal or operational retention requirements.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

- Access your personal information

- Correct inaccurate information

- Request deletion of your information

- Object to or restrict certain processing

- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Cardix application and related services. By using Cardix, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cardix. If you are under 18, you must have valid parental or guardian permission.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.

3. Description of Service

Cardix allows users to:

- Scan sports cards and trading card game (TCG) cards

- View AI-assisted identification and estimated market pricing

- Build and manage a personal card collection

- Track collection portfolio value over time

- View price history and market analysis

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Cardix offers auto-renewing subscription plans to unlock premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

- Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

- You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Apple ID Account Settings.

- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

- Subscription prices and plan options are displayed in the app before purchase.

5. No Financial or Investment Advice

Price estimates, market references, scan results, and listing data are for informational purposes only. Cardix does not guarantee valuation accuracy and does not provide investment, appraisal, brokerage, or financial advice.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit or upload through Cardix, including card photos and collection data. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Violate any law or third-party right

- Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or damage the app

- Upload malicious code or interfere with platform security

- Use the service to scrape data or abuse API access

- Misrepresent scan results or pricing data to third parties as certified appraisals

8. Third-Party Services

Cardix may link to or rely on third-party services such as Apple, Firebase, eBay, and AI providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, or policies.

9. Intellectual Property

All Cardix branding, design, code, and proprietary features are owned by us or our licensors. Card images, player likenesses, and brand logos displayed in scan results belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes only.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Cardix at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or harmed the service.

11. Disclaimers

Cardix is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cardix and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Cardix and its affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your conduct, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Cardix after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms will be interpreted and enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
