We believe that it is a civic duty to scambait, for all those who are able to do so safely. Scambaiting is intended to disrupt scammers as much as possible, reducing losses to victims who would otherwise fall for the scam. By involving the community in the fight against cybercrime, we hope that the influx of fake victims will take up resources of scammers, such that scamming becomes less lucrative.
