Very much the heart of the magazine, our diary pages are comprehensive, accurate and easy to use. They are updated for every issue so any changes are reflected as soon as possible.
There are two double page spreads of information.
The first is for pre-school children; a list of all activities and groups for parents and their under 5s. Drop-in sessions and pre-bookable sessions are clearly defined, along with the activity venue and contact details.
The second is for all out-of-school activities including all the dance classes, sports clubs, hobby clubs, etc.
The most recent diary pages can always be viewed here (or here if you prefer Facebook). If you know of any information contained there that is wrong, out-of-date or missing, please fill in the Contact Us form and let us know.
Every issue contain a few pages of news pertinent to local families. Be it events that are being planned in the next few months, new businesses that are opening, local children's achievements, etc. we love to hear and share your stories.
If you have some news you think we might be interested in, please Contact Us.
We always run a number of interesting features in every issue.
There is always at least one review of a family day out and that review is ALWAYS genuine, written by a family that have actually visited, actually tried the cafe, tried the baby change facilities, done the walk or had the tour.
We usually have a feature on family health, written for us, in answer to your health questions, by our local health professionals.
We usually have a feature provided for us by a local bookshop, giving us the latest news in children's literature.
We often have a cooking page, written by a local dad who loves to cook with his daughter.
And we especially like to use features that you send us. Thoughts about an aspect of modern parenting that is concerning you; social media, hay fever, immunisations, ofsted, suncream, sleepovers... If you would like to write for us, please Contact Us. We pay for your trouble.
