I am a Professor and Liollio Family Faculty Fellow in Wm. Michael Barnes Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Texas A&M University. I also serve as the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Global Optimization. I received my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mathematics at Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (Ukraine) and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida. My research focuses on discrete and global optimization, network analysis, network-based data analytics, and graph theory. Applications of interest include biological, social, and financial networks, wireless ad hoc and sensor networks, transportation, and energy systems. My work has been supported by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (including 2008 Young Investigator Program Award), the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy, the Office of Naval Research, CRDF Global, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
