December 28th - January 7th
Sherwood Baptist Church and Sherwood Christian Academy are partnering With Open Eyes, a Christian missions organization that trains and equips pastors in Africa to plant churches and share the Gospel. On this trip, students will be working with leaders from With Open Eyes to minister to pastors and their congregations, and also working with families living in refugee camps.
This trip is open to all high school age students who have completed a domestic mission trip (within the USA). Middle school students are welcome to attend if they are accompanied by a parent.
This cost covers your airfare, lodging and meals.
All participants on this trip are required to have vaccinations, purchase a passport and visa.
$350 due at registration
1/2 the cost of the trip is due by September 30, 2018
Final balance is due on November 11, 2018
Requirements for this Mission Trip
1. Completed a domestic mission trip (within the USA)
2. Provide a 150 word description of how you came to faith in Jesus.
3. Must share the Gospel with one person before registering (within the last thirty days)
4. Write a 150 word description of that experience.
5. Must be able to clearly articulate the Gospel.
6. Explain why you desire to go on this trip?

The online application will require time to complete and has requirements that must be met before you can complete the application. It is important that you are ready to meet complete the application when you begin.

To encourage participation in missions it is the Mission Team’s desire to offset the costs of international trips with a $500.00 credit towards the trip.
