I am an observational astronomer with primary expertise in ultraviolet, optical, and near-infrared astronomy, working at the intersection of extragalactic astrophysics, time-domain astronomy, and data-driven methods. My research focuses on understanding the formation, structure, and evolution of galaxies, as well as the nature of extragalactic transients such as novae, tidal disruption events, and electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational-wave sources.
A significant component of my work involves the analysis of large, multi-wavelength datasets from ground- and space-based facilities. I actively develop and apply machine-learning and AI-based techniques for automated morphological classification, detection of faint structures, and anomaly discovery in modern imaging and time-domain surveys.
