Sayyed Farhan Naqvi is an accomplished finance executive with extensive expertise in Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Capital Markets. He currently leads M&A initiatives at Tenneco, a portfolio company of Apollo Global Management, where he plays a critical role in executing strategic transactions and driving corporate growth.
Prior to Tenneco, Farhan served as CFO and Head of Corporate Development at iLearningEngines, an AI-driven Learning Automation platform recognized among Deloitte’s Fastest-Growing Tech Companies in North America. During his leadership, he helped scale the company’s revenue exponentially, led successful capital raises exceeding $250 million, oversaw key acquisitions, and played a major role in taking the company public in 2024.
Farhan’s career also includes senior roles at Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice, Deutsche Bank’s Technology Investment Banking division, and MHT Partners. His early professional experience spans leading wireline operations for Schlumberger across the Middle East and providing strategic financial analysis at Evalueserve.
He holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Farhan is a former FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 license holder, a recognized member of the Forbes Finance Council, and a Senator from the USA at the World Business Angels Forum, an affiliated partner of the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion. He is also an active investor with memberships in elite groups such as Globevestor and the HBS Alumni Angels.
