This is Sayed Mohsin Reza, PhD student in University of Texas at El Paso. I am an IEEE active member since 2014. In 2015, I became chair of IEEE Student Branch, Jahangirnagar University (http://sites.ieee.org/sb-jahangirnagar/), Bangladesh for session 2015-16. During my session, I tried to organize seminars on different topics to engage the undergrad student with IEEE. We organized several day-long events to introduce IEEE to students and motivate them to be part of IEEE. To be mentioned, I was successfully organized IEEEXtreme, a 24-Hours International Programming Competition in our branch from whole Bangladesh ( http://sites.ieee.org/sb-jahangirnagar/2015/10/25/ieeextreme-9-0-24-hour-programming-competition-2015/). After that, I worked with IEEE Bangladesh Section to facilitate IEEE conferences. I was the web coordinator for IEEE WIECON-ECE series conference (http://wieconece.org/) in 2016.
Currently, I am doing my PhD in computer science department in University of Texas at El Paso. In before I was in University of Colorad Denver, and last December 2017, I joined again IEEE Denver section as conference planning.
In summary, I will try my best to do such volunteer work to develop my extra-curricular activities.
