نظمت منظمة سيفر ميديا فعالية بعنوان "حوارات مع مسؤول وحدة مكافحة العنف ضد الأطفال بالأمم المتحدة" يوم أمس الموافق 20 أكتوبر، في نادي هيئة الموانئ البحرية. شارك في الفعالية 24 طفلًا من مختلف مناطق السودان، حيث تناولوا التحديات التي يواجهونها نتيجة الحرب وتأثيراتها السلبية على حياتهم ومستقبلهم.

وقد تطرقت الفعالية إلى التأثيرات العميقة لحرب السودان على الأطفال، حيث تسببت الحرب في تشريد آلاف العائلات، وحرمان الأطفال من التعليم بسبب تدمير المدارس، وجعلهم عرضة للتجنيد القسري والعنف والاستغلال. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يعاني الأطفال من صدمات نفسية حادة جراء فقدان أحبائهم ومشاهدة أحداث العنف، كما أنهم يواجهون نقصًا حادًا في الرعاية الصحية والغذائية بسبب تدهور البنية التحتية.

تأتي هذه الفعالية ضمن جهود المنظمة لتعزيز الوعي بحماية حقوق الأطفال والدفاع عنها في ظل الظروف الصعبة التي يعيشها السودان نتيجة الصراعات المستمرة، وسعيًا لتسليط الضوء على معاناة الأطفال ودعوة   المجتمع الدولي لتقديم الدعم اللازم لهم

*Safer Media Organization Hosts Event Titled "Dialogues with the UN Head of the Child Violence Prevention Unit"*

On October 20, Safer Media Organization hosted an event titled "Dialogues with the UN Head of the Child Violence Prevention Unit" at the Maritime Ports Authority Club. The event was attended by 24 children from various regions across Sudan, who discussed the challenges they face due to the ongoing war and its detrimental impact on their lives and future.

The discussions highlighted the profound effects of the Sudanese conflict on children, as the war has led to the displacement of thousands of families, deprived children of education due to the destruction of schools, and left them vulnerable to forced recruitment, violence, and exploitation. Additionally, children are experiencing severe psychological trauma from the loss of loved ones and exposure to violent events. They also suffer from critical shortages in healthcare and nutrition due to the deteriorating infrastructure.

This event is part of the organization’s efforts to raise awareness and advocate for children's rights protection amid Sudan's challenging circumstances caused by ongoing conflicts. It aims to shed light on the suffering of children and call upon the international community to provide the necessary support for them.
