SFMTA is voting on one or more of five proposals with varying levels of restrictions:
Email (and call) the public officials listed above
Include your name and where you live
Tell them if you support the project and, if so, which proposal you support
1a - The Original Plan (5 Turn Restrictions)
No left turns at the north end of West Portal.
No west-to-east travel on Ulloa across West Portal. No left turns from westbound Ulloa to West Portal.
No east-to-west travel on Ulloa across West Portal.
Lenox becomes one-way southbound, with enforced no left turn to Ulloa and enforced right turn only to Ulloa.
Transit-only lanes on the first block of West Portal (north and south).
Transit-only lane on Ulloa from Claremont to West Portal on the northern (westbound) side.
1b - Modified Original Plan
Similar to Proposal 1a, but with more modest transit-only lanes.
2 - Ulloa Transit Mall (5 Turn Restrictions)
Complete closure of Ulloa between Wawona and West Portal, except for SFMTA and vehicles entering from Lenox.
Lenox becomes one-way southbound, with enforced no left turn to Ulloa and enforced right turn only to Ulloa.
All 3 bus stops will be moved to Ulloa, between Wawona and West Portal.
3a - Three Turn Restrictions
No left turns at the north end of West Portal.
No east-to-west travel on Ulloa across West Portal.
Lenox becomes one-way southbound, with a forced right turn to Ulloa.
3b - Two Turn Restrictions
Similar to Proposal 3a but without the restriction of east-to-west travel on Ulloa across West Portal.
