I am a PhD student at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur working under the guidance of  Prof. Abhishek K. Gupta

My early research direction was shaped by my interests in Linear Algebra and Probability. I opted to explore Wireless Communication. I have worked on localization in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) with Small World Phenomenon. As M.Tech thesis project, I worked on analyzing the effect of first-order correlation in line of sight probability of base station on SINR coverage performance of mmWave cellular system [GlobeCOM 2020]. An extended version of the paper is published in IEEE Transactions on Communication [Link].

I am currently working in the field of Quantum Information Theory.  Our first accepted work on characterizing the quality of the post-selected quantum state discrimination problem was presented at 2023 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory [ISIT2023]. Now, I am working on an extension.

Beyond academics, I am interested in understanding the pattern of social interactions, information about social changes of the current world and the history of these patterns.  Ultimately, the understanding of society and social behaviour may help us evolving a harmonious society.

You can find my CV here [last updated: Apr'23].
