Lentera Summer Course 2025

Lentera Summer Course 2025 is open for:

• Indonesian undergraduate (D3, D4, and S1) students

• Indonesian fresh graduates (up to 2 years after graduation from an undergradute program)

To join the course, participants must:

• Have an intermediate-level of English proficiency (min. TOEFL ITP score of 350 or equivalent)

• Be motivated to improve their speaking skills

• Be committed to attend all sessions

This course gives you the opportunity to:

✔️ Practice your speaking skills

✔️ Learn practical tips and strategies

✔️ Build strong, lasting habits

This course may NOT be the right fit for you if:

❌ You prefer to stay quiet and not participate actively

❌ You're looking for test preparation (like TOEFL, IELTS, etc.) instead of building speaking confidence

❌ You're looking for a native-speaking instructor and aiming to sound exactly like a native speaker

❌ Your summer’s already fully booked and there’s no room for more

This course consists of four online sessions:

• Friday, 1 August 2025, 20.00–21.00 WIB: Talking about familiar topics

• Friday 8 August 2025, 20.00–21.00 WIB: Building the "English mind"

• Friday, 22 August 2025, 20.00–21.00 WIB: Discussing unfamiliar things

• Last week of August: 30-minute individual consultation and evaluation (flexible times)

Participants are allowed to only miss one scheduled sessions. The individual session will be scheduled in agreement with the instructor.

Application is extended until Friday, 18 July 2025 Saturday, 26 July 20225, 23.59 WIB. 

No, this course is 100% free. 

You just need a stable internet connection (and a good spirit!) for the online sessions. Ideally, you would want to join from a laptop or a computer with a camera for the best experience.
