Charoen Krung: Wipoosana Supanakon represents pakaoma is held on the 3rd floor at Central Original Store, Charoen Krung 38, from February 5 to February 25, 2022 as a Mixed blessings theme.
Pakaoma is traditional fabric of Thailand, it is a versatile cloth that Thai people have used for long times. Especially men usually use it.
It can be used for bathing, toweling, head covering, sun protection, or making a baby’s bed. The pakaoma looks like a rectangular cloth. The artists adapted to the old style by applying abstract paintings.

This is the process of creating this added value that pakaoma enables us to be contemporary and remain true to Thai culture.Many Thai artists got their inspiration from Dutch artists.
Its shape is a rectangular element, and has a primary color, which is similar to the structure of a Thai pakaoma that looks like a checkerboard
It resulted in the beginning of the artist's creation.The price of the pakaoma is around 500,000 baht. The admissions fee for the exhibition is free.
