I have 2 windows xp pc's with Sato Label Gallery 2 installed on them. I have a folder shared on the network with a bunch of labels that we use. Both software packages have the same version and from what I can see the same settings(I've tried tirelessly to find a difference in software and printer settings)

The problem is some labels look and print differently on the 2 pc's. Most look and print exactly the same, but just the odd one is different so all the labels have to be printed on one pc which slows the process.

SAP users design barcode labels using an intuitive label design software package such as NiceLabel Designer Pro. They can define all fields that need to be filled in later by variable data from SAP applications. It automatically generates the SAPscript for SATO printers by exporting the ITF SAPscript file. The barcode labels can then be printed directly from the SAP system without additional processing.

SAP users make use of the graphical design capabilities of Smart Forms to conveniently add barcode and text styles and graphically layout label formats. The device driver and device type are compliant with all the requirements for device types defined in the SAP Printer Vendor Program.

The interface module for SATO XML-enabled 4.0 solution is certified for integration with SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure via the SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure-Device Controller Interface (All-DC-RFID) 7.1 integration scenario. The XML-based interface enables direct printing of RFID smart labels from non-SAP back-end system applications that transmit their print jobs natively in an XML data stream.

SATO has released its labeling software series Label Gallery 2. The new generation of the successful SATO Label Gallery product features a state-of-the-art user interface, an expanded Wizard help facility and additional modules.

The Label Gallery 2 software series comprises the cost-free edition 'Free', the basic edition 'Easy', the full version 'Plus' and the high-end solution 'TruePro', which is also offered in a pocket or a network version. The standalone versions of SATO Label Gallery 2 come equipped with a hardware key. The printing interface 'GalleryPrint', which is available with the TruePro edition of Label Gallery 2, offers printing efficiency and is easy to operate. Moreover, SATO Label Gallery 2 is compatible with the international Unicode standard. This means that the software is able to generate labels in a wide range of languages.

All the main applications featured in SATO Label Gallery 2 can be conveniently selected via a toolbar. As the user interface may be adapted to suit individual needs, new label format generation is quick and simple. Moreover, objects can be added or changed and the layout can be checked in the print preview. The Easy starter edition supports variable queries, consecutive numbering and date/time stamping.

With the second release of SATO's labeling software, the 'Plus' edition has been expanded by two modules. 'Gallery MemMaster' and 'GalleryData' are not only to be found in the TruePro version, but now also support the Plus user in label design. Gallery MemMaster loads frequently-used fonts or graphics into the printer's internal storage, the advantage being that it shortens the throughput time of print jobs considerably.

GalleryData is a standalone tool for creating, importing and managing databases. The Plus edition contains many additional functions for the designing and printing of labels. It supports RTF format texts and can even be used to program radio frequency transponders on RFID labels. Other systems may be linked to Label Gallery Plus through Active X.

Label Gallery 2 TruePro, SATO's flagship label management solution, features a large number of integrated modules for designing sophisticated label formats. Besides a TruePro network solution, SATO also offers a TruePro edition for mobile use. The operator can print via infrared, TCP/IP or Bluetooth. Moreover, the TruePro version enables export to SAP R/3, internet printing via POP3 and serial port connectivity for scales or barcode scanners.

SATO, a pioneer in the Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) industry and a leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions, offers a comprehensive variety of industrial strength barcode printers for the demanding and mission-critical requirements throughout the manufacturing process. Known for its reliability and durability, SATO printers, along with SATO industrial and smart labels, provide reliable, high quality printing in the harshest manufacturing environments.

The SATO CT4-LX sets the bar for desktop barcode label printing. This 4-inch thermal printer offers features and functionality typically only found in industrial printer models but in a compact size. The CT4-LX is equipped with a full-color touchscreen display, the latest wireless connectivity options, and patented label waste prevention feature.

The CT4-LX thermal transfer printer combines an ideal size for small spaces with excellent performance. On average, faster than other printers in its class, the SATO CT4-LX can achieve a print speed of up to 203 mm/s. Thus, you can print customized labels according to your requirements, such as barcode labels, by having all your quantities programmed quickly.

With a resolution of 203 or 305 dpi , the CT4-LX can print on the label roll as well as wristbands. The thermal transfer printer can print in various alphanumeric fonts and 1D and 2D barcodes. The width of the customized label can be a maximum of 104mm; a huge variety of labels can thus be printed with this thermal transfer printer.

First design your labels with the Nicelabel. This software, not supplied with the printer. Label Gallery 3 Free Edition enables the design of customized standard linear barcode labels. However, this version of Label Gallery does not support 2D or EAN type barcodes, or RFID labels or database management. These functions are possible with other versions of the Label software Gallery3.

The wireless connection and optional Bluetooth enable the thermal transfer printer to operate independently, without necessarily being connected to a host system when printing labels. The CT4-LX printer is ready for the RFID, and can operate with the optional HF RFID.

SATO customers will be pleased to note that NiceLabel version 6 replaces Label Gallery and is 100% compatible with Label Gallery files. All label templates created with any Label Gallery designer, all forms created with Gallery Forms, and all Gallery Watch configurations can be used with NiceLabel.

NiceLabel Automation products add label printing functionality to your existing applications (e.g. warehouse management, shipping, production management etc.). The built-in connectors extract data from your software and hardware, requiring no change to existing systems. Automation lets users print efficiently and accurately without switching to another application.

NiceLabel lets you easily create standard compliance, customer specific or your proprietary barcode label templates. A library of predefined designs, 70 barcode symbologies, extensive clip art gallery and a point-and-click interface will help you finish quality designs in no time. Universal label format means you use the same template for different products and on different printers.

Maintaining a consistent and reliable labeling system is becoming a daunting challenge as your company strives for greater operational efficiency, your customers demand more flexibility and regulatory bodies change requirements.

I have been trying to print a barcode label using SAPScript. I exported the SAPScript-ITF file from the label designer program (Sato Label Gallery) using functionality Export to SAP and saved it as standerd text using Tcode SO10.
