Hi! I am Satish. I earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, USA. I earned an M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, AL, USA in 2019 and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from VIT University, Chennai, India in 2017. My research interests lie in the intersection of Optimization, Control, and Modeling of Power Systems. I am currently Lead Controls Engineer at GE Vernova.
Currently, my research is focused on investigating battery degradation in hybrid energy systems such as Hybrid Electric vehicles, Shipboard Power Systems, etc. The goal is to study a battery degradation heuristic measure that captures the degradation effectively. Another research topic revolves around using fault-resilient optimization methods for Inverter-Based Resources.
