Bakul Sathaye
I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the American University of Paris.
Before arriving in Paris, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Münster with Prof. Linus Kramer. Before that, I was a postdoc at Ben Gurion University of the Negev and Wake Forest University. I did my PhD at the Ohio State University under the supervision of Jean-Francois Lafont.
My research is in geometric topology and geometric group theory. I am interested in non-positively curved spaces and boundaries of groups.
