Thus, I replaced my 620w PSU listed above with a new EVGA 650w Bronze power supply, but the issue still persists after replacing the PSU and ASUS Anti-Surge would still trigger after the game ran for a few minutes. I tried disabling the Anti-Surge option in the BIOS to try to rule out false triggering. This resulted in the monitors going dark and displaying nothing in about the same window as the anti-surge trigger. After ruling out that it is probably not a false positive, I am unsure of where the issue lies now that the PSU has been replaced.

Every time a shutdown occurs, the computer restarts and I am taken to the BIOS screen stating that ASUS anti-surge has triggered a shutdown due to an unstable power supply. I first thought that this was a PSU issue and thus replaced my PSU with no resolution. I had an electrician come out and test the outlets in my home and I was assured that there is no issue with the outlets or wiring in my home, so I am unsure of what to do next. I do not currently have another GPU that I can test with to rule out that option. Is the PC drawing too much power for a 650w power supply? Could this be a MOBO or GPU issue? I'm praying it's not the GPU as they are impossible to find affordably at this point. I figured if the GPU was the issue, that I wouldn't be able to get anything on the displays at all.

My brother came to visit and had recently updated his GPU, he brought his old card to me in order to swap it out to test. Everything ran beautifully. I would venture a guess that my GPU is causing the system to short out and triggering the anti-surge which would explain why it only triggers when playing graphic intensive games. I appreciate your help on the matter Pkshadow,, but I'm pretty sure I found the problem. 5376163bf9
