Cairo has two operating international Airports
Cairo International Airport (CAI)
Sphinx International Airport (SPX)
CAI airport is the main airport, busier, larger, and closer to the downtown and venue (25mins by car), while SPX airport could be slightly away from the venue (45 mins by car), yet, it is a very suitable alternative.
The local currency is the Egyptian Pound (EGP).
Cash is widely used, but many places accept credit cards, especially in hotels and big restaurants.
ATMs are available, but it’s good to carry some small bills for taxis, markets, and tipping.
