GNM Course

ABOUT THE COURSE

General Nursing and Midwifery, simply, GNM, is a 3 years course and awards "Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery". The GNM Training School under Nalbari Maternity Hospital is affiliated to Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council. 

After completing the GNM course, graduates can continue their education through various avenues such as pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or specialized certifications to further advance their careers and expand their knowledge base. 

Graduates of the GNM program can pursue various career paths in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, community health centers, schools, and other healthcare facilities. They can work as staff nurses, midwives, nursing educators, or pursue further education and specialization in nursing fields.
