Saraswat Bhattacharyya

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems (MPI PKS) in Dresden, Germany. I am part of the Physics of Living Matter group, supervised by Dr. Ricard Alert. I study the collective behavior of cells and bacteria using active matter theory, computational modelling, and non-equilibrium statistics.

Previously, I obtained my DPhil under the supervision of Prof. Julia M. Yeomans at the University of Oxford, where I was supported by a Rhodes scholarship.
