Shape, Face, Move, Talk is a structure that encourages learners to explore moods, characters, animals, etc. through a variety of means of expression.
Steps:
1. Find or clear a large space and ask your learners to spread out within it. Ensure that everyone's bubble of personal space is intact and and that everyone is able to hear you.
2. Choose a subject - a profession, animal, emotion, character, etc. - and share it with your learners.
3. Ask them to make the shape of that subject with their bodies.
4. Once your learners have their shapes figured out, ask them to make their faces look like your subject.
5. When your learners have their faces ready, ask them to move like your subject.
6. Once your learners have been moving for about 10-15 seconds, ask them to talk like your subject.
