3. Explain that your learners are going to work together to bring some ideas, characters, animals, objects, etc. to life! (This structure can be adapted to any subject or lesson - just choose the prompts you ask your students to act out accordingly! For example, if you are learning about pets, you might ask your students to be dogs, cats, fish, etc., and if you're learning about emotions, you might ask your students to portay joy, disappointment, anger, etc.) Tell your Learner #1s that they are going to begin the game as actors, portraying the prompts you give through movement and expression. Tell your Learner #2s that they're going to start out as copy cats, responsible for mimicking their partners' creations. Explain that each time the copy cats have all recreated their partners actions, you'll call, "Change places!" When you say that, each copy cat will skip (or walk) in a small circle around their partner (being careful not to bump into anybody). When the copy cats return to their spots, they'll become the actors, and the actors will become the copy cats!
