1. Find or clear a large space for this activity. Ask your learners to pair up, and request that each pair find their own spot in the space away from other pairs. If you have an uneven number of learners, join in the activity and pair up with one of them!

2. Determine which learner in each pair is Learner #1 and which is Learner #2. This can be done by asking the buddies to choose amongst themselves. Or, if this may be complicated, you can announce a random criteria (such as height, alphabetical order, etc.) that will determine which learner in each pair is which - for example, "The person whose name comes first in the alphabet is Learner #1 today!"

Announce that when you say, "Switch!" the people will become reflections and the reflections will become people!
