3. Share that you're all going to play a game to say good morning/good afternoon (or good evening, if applicable) to each other. Explain that you're going to toss the toy to somebody in the circle. As you do, you're going to say, "Good morning/afternoon, (student's name)!" If you want to add some extra kindness to the game, you can also give that person a compliment. For example, you might say, "Good morning, (student's name)! You're very creative!" Explain that the learner you greeted should return your greeting (and also say thank you, if you're playing with compliments), then greet another classmate by name (and give them a compliment, if you're playing that way) and throw the toy to them. Players who've been greeted and had the toy thrown to them should sit down after throwing the toy to another player; people who are seated cannot have the toy thrown to them again.
