Taken from the Central South African Railways "Sketch Plans of Stations and Diagrams of Signals", Johannesburg Division, dated 14 September 1909. This was one of the first stations to be reinstalled with the new Standard Signalling that came into force after the Union in 1910. This Diagram from 1913 shows Frederikstad, & method of Trains workings was Tyers' Electric Tablet. The layout remained the same up until a new station was built with the new deviation of the line in the 1960's
