Daggafontein layout from the 1980's upwards, The lever frame consisted of 32 levers, with Backstroke locking on the Home Signals. Van Schoor Token System was in operation to Springs & Dunnottar. By the early 2000's, the line from Nigel to Kaydale was uplifted, and all Goods traffic had disappeared. Metro trains consisting of 4 coach 5M2A sets would still run from Springs to Nigel up until the line was closed towards the end of the late 2010's.
