This was Wesselsnek Station from the 1960's to the 1980's. The Lever Frame consisted of 40 Levers, and was equipped with track circuiting. There was also a siding to a nearby coal mine, called Natal Steam Coal Company. Train control was Double line Lock & Block to Wasbank & Block Bells with Block Signals to Elandslaagte. By the mid 1980's C.T.C. took over, and was controlled by Newcastle C.T.C.

This was the 1925 layout of Wesselsnek Station. Note the previous spelling of some of the stations, in this case "Wessels Nek" (Before that it was called Helpmekaar Road), and Wasbank was called "Waschbank". Here there was a siding for Natal Steam Coal Company, and a Triangle incorporated into the layout. The Lever Frame was a Standard S.A.R. Pullover Lever Frame, with a bank of 20 Levers. Train control was Electric Train Staff to Waschbank & Meduna.Â
