This was the 1960's layout of Red Hill Station on the Old North Coast line. The lever frame consisted of 16 levers with backstroke locking on the Home Signals & was equipped with Special Interlocking, with Distant signals. The station never had Outerhome Signals due to the steep gradients either side of the station. Method of Train Control was Van Schoor Absolute to Avoca & Greenwood Park. By the 1970's, the station was permanently closed.Â
