This was the 1927 layout of Meduna Station on the Natal Mainline. Originally a single line, with Electric Train staff in operation to Elandslaage & Wessels Nek, up till the early 1960's. With that came a new deviation of tight curves between Meduna & Elandslaagte and the station was then abandoned. The new section between Elandslaagte & Wesselsnek was Block Bells and Automatic Block Signals from the 1960's to the mid 1980's, by the late 1980's C.T.C. had taken over with the original site of Meduna just having a set of crossover points from No.1 & No.2 Mainlines.
