This was the late 1960's layout of Greenwood Park Station on the Old North Coast line. The lever frame consisted of 16 levers with backstroke locking on the Home Signals. Method of Train Control was Colour Light Special Instructions to Umgeni, & Van Schoor Absolute to Red Hill. There was also a special working for trains shunting in the Briardene Corobrick Intersiding. By the 1979, (Diagram below) the station siding was removed, and Van Schoor train control extended up to Duff's Road, as Red Hill & Avoca stations were permanently closed. Semaphores at Greenwood Park lasted up to 2001, when it was then permanently closed and C.T.C. operation from Durban took over.
