(ECM)793Escombe was a small station equipped with Goods Sidings. To access the sidings you needed the Electric Train staff (Which had a special key attached to it) up until the 1940s, then later the Van Schoor Tablet that was placed in a Subsidiary Instrument in the station building that released the points key. A "One-Way Points Indicator" was installed here, By the mid 1980's, the sidings ware removed all together.
