Dundee Station was converted to colourlights in the 1960's, replacing the Semephores.A standard S.A.R. pullover lever frame was still used and equipped with 52 Levers. Interestingly enough, on the North End Points were mechanical, and the South End were Electrical. Train control was Single Line Block working to Glencoe, and Van Schoor to Talana. By the end of 1998, all the mechanical semaphore stations from Talana to Stilwater were closed. Dundee remained with its colourlights and was the Radio Train Orders office for the section to Vryheid. Unfortunately, by 2019, Dundee finally closed its doors, and all signalling removed.
