This Station features on the  new improved alignment from Dundee to Vryheid, which was completed in the late 1960's, and it was close by to the original station. The Lever Frame consisted of 24 Levers, with Backstroke locking on the Home Signals. Train control was Van Schoor to Tayside & Kingsley, with Interworking to the Interloop at Doringberg (which was once a station on the old alignment). When Tayside closed in 1986, the Van Schoor section was extended to Malonjeni. Sadly, by late 1998, all the mechanical semaphore stations from Talana to Stilwater were closed, and signalling removed. Radio Train Orders took over the section to Vryheid.
