(COR)808
This was the 1929 layout of Cato Ridge Station and was a junction for the Old Main Line (1880) & New Main Line (1921)The signal cabin was equipped with Saxby & Farmer Lever frame at this time. By the mid 1980's the conversion to C.T.C. in Durban took control, however, a Station Foreman was still stationed here for train working duties, to deliver & collect Van Schoor tokens & Telegraph Orders for trains proceeding over the OML. This lasted up until 2005 ( Van Schoor up till 1993) It was then decided to convert the OML to Wooden Train Staff, and therefore a Foreman was no longer needed.
