Boscobello Station layout from 1924, on the original alignment. It was a reversing station at that time, with a Lever Frame consisting of 14 Levers, and was equipped with Standard SAR Signalling & Pullover Frame. Webb & Thompson Electric train staff was the method of train control, from Newcastle to Ingogo, and to Mount Prospect. There was another reversing point between here & Mount Prospect called Inkwelo, which train crews would operate points & shunt the trains. By the 1938, the line to Charlestown had a new deviation & electrified, and the original site was abandoned, with a new Boscobello station being built.Â
