The 4th station from De Aar towards Kimberly on the Cape Northern Main Line. The line was single up till the late 1960's then the section was doubled. This station closed in about 2001 when 25kv electrification and C.T.C. was introduced. And then the whole section from De Aar to Kimberley was reduced back to a single line.
