Sir Lowry's Pass station never had a signal cabin, but did have a frame of 8 levers on the verandah out side the station masters office. It was a detector station with hand tumblers at the points, just like many other stations to Bredasdorp including Elgin, Bot River & Caledon. By 1987 the semaphore signals were disconnected and the station was closed. Now days just the Mainline through the station exists.
