This layout of Kalbaskraal from 1977, It had a frame of 28 Levers, with Backstroke Locking on the Home Signals. It had Van Schoor operation to Klipheuwel (with Interworking to Wintervogel) & Malmesbury. It was also a junction with the Saldanha Branch Line with Wooden Staff & Paper tickets in operation to Darling. The station also at a small Loco Depot in the steam days. By the mid to late 1990's this station closed and Radio Train Orders took over, With this came a new (Triangle) link connecting the Saldanha branch with Malmesbury Main for direct traffic to Malmesbury.
