This 1970's Huguenot Double Line station had a strange locking layout, with track circuiting on Dal Josafat & Paarl ends, but no track circuiting in the station area or facing points on the North end, which meant Backstroke Locking on certain signals, but not equipped with Safety Bars on tracks in front of the cabin. I believe only in the 2000's did they add track circuits throughout the signalling area. This station along with Paarl is now permanently closed.
