This is a 1980's era layout Faure, It is the first stop after Eersterivier junction on the Protem Branch. Suburban trains are in operation to Strand and freight trains to Caledon and Bredasdorp. The Lever frame was a 16 piece frame with Backstroke Locking on the Home signals, with the section back to Eersterivier worked by track circuits, and Token working with Van Schoor was in operation to Firgrove. During the 1980's, an Outerhome and Intermediate Home signal was added, with 2 dwarf signals & a colourlight advance starter signal when the colourlight block section came into force to Eersterrivier. By 2020, the line was in the process of being upgraded to C.T.C. and all sidings were removed. The station closed abruptly during Covid pandemic, and the entire station and signals vandalised, but luckily the lever frame was rescued by a group of volunteers from Winelands Light Railway, (with written permission from PRASA) and is now on display there.
