(BTS)152

This 1960's layout of Bot River was a detector station, having hand tumblers worked at the points, and with home signals worked from the lever frame in the signal cabin. The frame had 8 levers. Many other stations on this line to Bredasdorp had a similar set up, including Sir Lowry's Pass, Elgin & Caledon. By 1987 the semaphore signals were disconnected and the station was closed.
