To enhance the sign in security of all SAP Concur users, two-factor authentication (2FA) will be required on www.concursolutions.com starting October 18, 2023. All users who are using basic authentication (SAP Concur username and password) on web or mobile will need to set up 2FA at that time. Click to learn more.

I was advised that a user needs to login to their profile on the desk top then go to Profile-> Concur mobile registration and once they receive the email notification they can download the app and use their login details to sign in on the app.

When I queried this with Concur Support they said that it is possible for a new user to sign in directly on the app and the Concur mobile registration is mandatory if your company has SSO (single sign on) and my company does not have SSO.

@J-Kap Companies that do not have SSO do not need to register for the mobile app. The only thing a new user must do is log in to the Web version (notice I did not say Desktop) of SAP Concur and make sure they update their password from the temporary password they were provided to initially log in to something unique. Once they have created their new password, they can download the app and log in. Done and done.

So, in the case where someone doesn't use a lap top or desktop computer, they would need to use their mobile device (cell phone, iPad, tablet, etc.) to access www.concursolutions.com to log in. Users cannot use the provided temporary password to log in to the mobile app,, so that's why they must go to the web version of SAP Concur and update their password there first.

This issue seems to be bigger than I thought it was. I was speaking to another colleague about this matter and it has been an issue that has affected many individuals across my company for a period of around 6 weeks before today. The issue continues to exist and the only way my team is able to complete an expense report is by using a laptop and entering expenses online, then going back to their mobile devices to attach receipts. It has been tedious to say the least and prohibitive from a field standpoint. Unfortunately, this seems to be the case with every expense type and has not yet been resolved from the Concur side of the equation. Any help will be much appreciated.

@Jonlbove in the case of @rbaiamonte our mobile team said it was an invalid payment type error. They didn't say what causes this. They said that you should submit a support ticket and provide detailed steps of what you did that led up to you receiving the error. They need to try and reproduce the error, so they would need to know if you created the expense first using the quick expense option by clicking Create on the app home screen or did you create an expense report then add the entry directly to the report, was it an out of pocket expense, etc. Basically, outline exactly the steps you took that got you to the error.

unfortunately, I did not find a "solution" to the problems we were having in my company. I'm pretty tech savvy and couldn't figure it out on my end, however, I did reach out to my company's concur administrators and they were able to do some kind of reset on their end that helped "fix" the problem. Not sure what the issue was, but know that it all began with the Concur initiated software update from 9.97 to 9.98....all the way through 9.100 until my admin did whatever they did on their end. Wish I had a better answer than that, but that's all I have

In the past, when using the SAP Concur mobile app to capture and upload receipts, when a receipt is put into view of the Concur app via the smartphone camera, it would autocrop out the background of the receipt and autocapture just the portion of the receipt the user needs to upload to an expense report. It was quick and easy and it worked really well. It no longer does this.

Instead, when a receipt is put into view of the camera, the app struggles to discern what is the receipt and what is the background as one sees the focus frame jump into and out of the shape of the receipt. No matter what distance adjustments I make with the camera, it never seamlessly autocaptures and stays in the "Ready to Capture" manual mode and when I tap the capture button, the capture includes parts of the dark background that I lay the receipt on. I looked into the mobile app settings but didn't find any related to the autocrop /autocapture features that used to work so well.
